About Us
The Abbey is a Bar & Restaurant with a defining atmosphere. Sophisticated, minimalistic decor with ample space between tables and the warmth of the brown, red and cream colours makes for a comfoting ambience. Lunch is served from Wednesday to Sunday 12-4PM and you can choose from a light bite of Soup. Chowder or Pate for less than €6, or you can try our Gourmet Sandwiches or Salads or indeed a Maion Course with Daily Specials. Dinner is served from 4Pm Wednesday to Sunday and features thai fish Cakes, Thai Red Curry a choice of Steaks and there is a Specials Board also.
Our motto here at The Abbey is Great Food @ Affordable Prices and our Head Chef John O'Mahony aims to deliver. We strive to ensure that each customer is looked after to the best of our ability. And we dont just stop at Lunch & Dinner, we also cater for Private Functions and have an upstairs area called The Belfry which can be booked out for your group!
